Our Policies and Guidelines

For a hassle-free stay, please, take the time to review our policies prior to making a reservation with us. This page details guidelines on reservations, cancellations, check-in/check-out procedures, and more. We appreciate you helping us ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests. Once booked, your consent to our policies is agreed. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call. We'll be glad to help.

Cancellation Policy

We have a 14 day cancellation policy. A one night deposit will be taken at time of reservation. A cancellation email reminder will be sent to you 14 days prior to your visit. The remaining balance will be processed 10 days prior to your check in date if no cancellation is requested. This will guarantee your reservation. If you cancel before the 14 day cancellation period, your balance will be refunded or you may swap for alternative dates as available with rates held for up to 1 year. If cancellation occurs within the cancellation period, the whole balance will be forfeited and no refunds will be made. (However, if we are able to rebook the room we will refund you your reservation less the one night deposit OR we can reschedule your visit to an alternate date.)  Unfortunately, we are not able to refund for checking out early. In case of a NO SHOW, the guest will be charged 100%. We may require full payment at reservation for groups, special events and holiday stays. 


Check In and Check Out

Check in is after 3:00 PM and check out is at 11:00 AM. On the day of your arrival, you will receive a text with your check in instructions along with your room number and door code so that when you arrive, you can go directly to your room. For your convenience, there is no need to stop in the office for check in or check out. We purposely leave you alone as much as possible so that you can enjoy your stay but we are always available. Please make sure that we have your correct CELL phone number and contact information. If you have any concerns or problems with your stay, please feel free to call or text at 603-815-8736.


Smoking

Please be advised we are a smoke free hotel, which extends to medicinal uses, vaping and all forms of smoking. This includes all rooms, porches, patios and public spaces. If you must smoke, we ask to please to do so off property. Your cooperation is appreciated for the enjoyment of all guests.  If any residual smoke smell is left in the room, a $250 fee will be charged to your credit card.


Dog Policy

We love dogs and want to provide a dog friendly hotel here so please cooperate as dog lovers with our policies so we may continue offering this to all. A one time dog cleaning fee per room of $30 will apply. Limit is 2 dogs. Unfortunately there are a few breeds that are not accepted by our insurance and cannot stay at the Lodge; Pit Bull, Bull Terrier, attack or trained watch dogs of any breed, Rottweiler, American Pit Bull Terrier, Akita, Doberman, Wolf hybrid, Chow, Bull Mastiff, American Bully, American Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario and Shar-Pei. Working K-9 dogs with their handlers are excepted as are verified and papered credible assistance service dogs. All other doggie guests are charged a fee.  Please keep your dog under command and on a leash at all times. Please do not leave your dog alone in your room for an extended period of time. If we get complaints of your dog barking or whining while you are away or with them, we will contact you to remove them from the room during your stay, without refunds. Please pick up after your pet 100% of the time on our grounds--doggie poopevenir bags will be provided! and dispose of it properly in the provided doggy receptacles located around the property and garden. Any damage caused to the hotel grounds, room, its furnishings or any other part of the hotel are your sole responsibility. Your booking is deemed consent and understanding that your account will be charged the cost of such damages. NO CATS, REPTILES, OR BIRDS or pets of any other kind are permitted. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or furniture without covers--please ask us for old linens and we will gladly provide a doggie kit. The use of the grounds are to be used at your own risk and responsibility to insure respectful interactions with other dogs and guests. Please be mindful during your stay that there are woodland creatures in and around North Conway (bobcats, bears, skunks etc.). (If your doggo gets skunked while here they will not be permitted back in the room--with no exceptions--outdoor hoses are available for help cleaning them up.) The Whittaker Woods trails folks have their own rules about dogs on the trails which are accessed thru our property-please be respectful and familiarize their rules.  Otherwise friends, DOGS RULE!


Lobby Hours & Information

Lobby hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m with Innkeepers in and out of the lobby during hours. However, the lobby and the pantry/coffee area are available by key code 24 hours a day for guests. If out on the property and not in the lobby, your Innkeepers are available by phone or text for questions or concerns. Although we might not be in the lobby at all times, we are always around the property and love to visit at the fire-pit and at coffee time. After hours, except for emergency issues, we politely ask that you text us in the a.m. at 603-828-2292 unless it is Please make sure children are accompanied by an adult in all public and office areas. We have complimentary coffee and tea in the pantry along with other snacks and retail items for purchase. We are a GO GREEN hotel so do not have daily turn service, however, we keep extra towels, shampoo, etc. in the lobby for your convenience if needed.
